"The villa was as nice as it looks in the photos. The pool and terrace are great. The beach is a five minute walk via the path under the main road (this naturally involves steps so young children might need to be taken to the beach near the two local restaurants 10 minutes along the road and across the pedestrian crossing). There is a very good supermarket a 10 to 15 minute walk away in the Omiš direction which has a car park and a cafe. Omiš is also easily walkable and has good restaurants and shops, a castle and a river with lots of water activities. The main road between the villa and the beach is noisy (unsilenced motorbikes seem to be popular) so bear this in mind if you’re sensitive to noise. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed a low season break in the sun. "

"The house is every bit as gorgeous as the pictures- so spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained. Sanjay gave us a warm welcome with a Croatian spread of fruit, cheese, meat and a special type of tortilla like spinach pie. We stayed one week. The pool is not able to be heated to a comfortable temperature in the cooler weather which was disappointing- we wanted to turn up the pool heat, or even the jacuzzi, especially for the toddler. Everything else was perfect - so close to Omis, beach restaurants, we made day trips to Split and Trogir and Makarska. Our 4 young adults did the Omis zip line and were exhilarated. Shooko bar is charming for a pizza dinner, cocktails and watching the sunset. "

"Beautiful property Even nicer than the photographs. Great communication pre and during our stay. So helpful in providing children’s cots and bedding. The playroom is fantastic and the pool room great fun. There is a great restaurant called Local nearby and a lovely local shop just 5 minutes away. The beaches either left or right of Shikoku are fantastic for children. We really had such a wonderful time from the moment we arrived and saw such an amazing table full of delicious food we knew we had booked a wonderful place to spend a week. "The villa was perfect for our family getaway - there were 6 adults and 4 children between 4 and 8. The villa had everything we needed and the host Ivan was very communicative and really helpful, offering to take us to the bigger supermarket if we needed it (which we didn’t as there was enough around for us to get by on - shops and cafes.) Omiš was quick and easy to get to on the bus and split was just over half an hour on the bus so really easy too! I would definitely recommend!"
