ONCE THE SNOW ARRIVES…🌨⛄️❄️
In the winter Highway 14 may or may not have snow on it. The county plows do not plow at night and they start as early as possible to clear roads in the mornings. SNOW REMOVAL: if it snows during your stay your driveway will be blown out if there’s 8” or more. The plow may only blow up to where your car is parked, if you park in the spot left of the cabin the plow should be able to blow the entire driveway. Snow removal on your deck, too and around your car is your responsibility. There will be a shovel on the deck of the cabin. We are in line for snow plow AFTER the main roads, resident and elders.

POWER OUTAGES: in the event of a power outage the only source of heat is from the fireplace and you will have to start the fire for heat. We do not stock wood or fire starters. Plan ahead if there is winter weather and have these provisions. We are not able to provide them for you, there is no Uber, there is no Uber eats, no food delivery! No tow trucks! Be prepared! Yes, the power goes out in the winter weather!

Please keep in mind if you arrive after dark on the Mountain most everything may be closed. Please plan ahead. This is a tiny village community without many winter amenities.

Nice little cabin
Communication was excellent from the host. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend which was in the low below teens at night so bringing extra firewood was a must. Space heaters throughout but the fireplace definitely helped. Overall a nice cabin, master bed was very comfortable.

Base Camp to explore Utah's Treasures
This property is in a great location for accessing several of Utah's national parks. It also is great to engage in a variety of other outdoor hidden gems. Donald and Maria were great host with good and prompt communication. They also included a number of games and area info to help make the stay more pleasurable. While I am sure this location is quite the happening place we visited in November and got to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Cute and cozy cabin
We loved that it sat back off of the road. No other homes terribly close, barely even noticed them. Great area to walk the dog, she loved every minute. Close to restaurants, Cleanliness was ok, kitchen could use some work. A lamp in the living room and small coffee table would add to convenience. Owner responded promptly to questions. Very satisfied overall, but wish local tv was available. Missed Survivor lol

Great stay with quiet neighbors and beautiful weather!
Entrance to the neighborhood from GPS is steep and bouncy, but quick. Easy access, a great deck with the perfect setup. Please note there isn't a dishwasher with the expectation that all dishes are cleaned. It's very dark at night once you learn how to turn off the front light, and great star gazing!

What a great cabin!
Donald and Maria were amazing hosts. Great communication from the time before booking and during. The title for the Cabin is right on. I think myself and our friends said exactly this “what a cozy cabin”. The lay out is done great for the size of the cabin. The property is beautiful. We woke up to deer every morning just right in front of the porch. Great seating area on the porch for eating and just enjoying the scenery. They supply so much, games, movies and outdoor fun too. All the linens were very nice and bathrooms were very clean and decorated nicely. Perfect for a nice group of 6. There was 4 of us and a 1 year old and it was just perfect. We will for sure add this to our favorites for Duck Creek and we will for sure be back!

The cabin was perfect for my family. It was so easy to find !We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the deer walk throught the yard at different times of the day. We barbecued almost every night so that was nice to have. The location is really tucked away and the deck faces your own little personal forest area. We just loved it! Thank you Maria!

Perfect family getaway
We love Duck Creek in the summer to get away from the Las Vegas heat. This cabin was great. The location is perfect. We gave the bedroom to the grandparents, my husband and I took the loft with the boys. The spiral staircase is a little scary if you have a little one cause the stair gaps are open, but fun once you get comfortable. Maria was a wonderful host.

This cabin is amazing and in an amazing location. We have been wanting to visit Utah for a while and wanted to get away from the heat as we are from AZ. This cabin fit the 3 of us plus our dog perfectly. Cabin was very clean and was very comfortable. It is truly in a peaceful location, you hear the birds and you see the deer just casually walking through the property. It was definitely an amazing stay.
