This was a good hotel, but the walls were so thin that we had to listen to someone's loud 2:00 a.m. "festivities" which was gross. We also ended up staying during a soccer tournament and there were sooo many families taking up the lobby area that didn't seem to care that there were other people also staying at the hotel that weren't part of the tournament. Both of these things aren't things that the hotel can fix necessarily but would be useful information for someone who is looking for a quiet stay. Besides that, the location was great, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean!

Hotel was clean and had a contemporary look but some common modern amenities were missing. Notably missing were charging outlets/stations common to most hotels these days. Also we were located next to the elevator shaft, which was fairly loud.

Hotel is very nice in downtown Dubuque near the river. However when we arrived there was no one at the front desk and no bell or call system. Eventually I found someone in the restaurant who assured me the front desk person would be there soon but obviously didn’t contact anyone. After waiting again I called the hotel. The ringing phone brought an employee from a back office, who said he had been busy with paperwork. He apologized and was friendly but it took 10-15 minutes to get help.

We attended a concert at The Five Flags Center so the location was excellent and were able to have dinner right at the hotel before. Kind of disappointed that we were not able to have a drink in the restaurant/bar after the concert.

The overall property was good and well taken care of. The issue we had was the bathroom floor had very visible hair from the previous occupant, It was very easily seen which means that they didn't do a very good job of cleaning.

Honestly the weirdest thing was stay in king size room, sheets on bed appeared to be queen size and were barely on the bed. Very quiet room and excellent staff. Would stay again.

Staff was very polite and building was clean but cafe is very slow and forgetful with food orders. There was no complimentary breakfast. I was very disappointed with this hotel with no complimentary breakfast. I'm probably not going to stay there again 😕.
