Beautiful location and views. Wonderful amenities however we arrived too late to enjoy most. Room was very large and well laid out, clean and fabulous balcony with views. Enjoyed buffet breakfast.

We really appreciated the spa and the private beach. The trails around the island are also a big bonus. Nice room, but the cleanliness could improve in the bathroom. Mostly friendly staff.

What a great location! It almost felt like a 5 star exclusive hotel with a private beach. Definitely relaxing, great food and beautiful views. If you don’t want the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik, this is for you.

I "Adora" Hotel Amfora! This place was so perfect that as soon as I arrived, I didn't want to leave the property!!! I enjoyed fabulous customer service from the start when Miralem rescued me and transported my luggage to the Hotel! Then, the manager, Elio, made sure that My stay was superb! I even dined in the Restaurant for dinner and it was delightful! I walked along the Adriatic and watched a beautiful sunset! Happy in Hvar!!!

Be sure to book dinner early!
It was all pretty perfect. Our only annoyance was that at 5pm we asked about eating dinner in one of the hotels restaurants but were told we'd have to wait until 9pm; seems they need to add dining capacity for peak season.

The beach was wonderful, breakfast could be better as there is no change on the menu so every day is the same and pastries cold look better, staff very friendly, charges made to the room very difficult to understand when they give you the final statement as there is no regards between what you know you paid at restaurants and the way they show you the charges at the reception on the day you are leaving.

The hotel could be great, but why do they not encourage their guests to stay onsite at the hotel bar and restaurants? When we did buy some drinks at the La Baja bar they were extortionate - 2 local lagers, one cola, and 2 rums - £34 by Croatian prices that's costly. Infinity pool was nice, as was the sunbeds at the private beach, but the owners of the hotel really need to improve on keeping the hotel guests there, as nothing was opened...so it's not really as advertised on their website. Can't fault the room however, it was excellent. :)

The hotel is beutiful, clean and the staff are great. The location on the island is perfect. The price of food and drink is reasonable and in line with local establishments. Unfortunately the hotel is badly let dow by its spa. Most of the spa facilities are broken. Out of all the facilites available only the steam room was functional.

Beautiful Island, super clean hotel, breathtaking views from our room and outside. Lovely infinity outsde pool.Lovely staff and very friendly Wish there was more ferries/transpot to Dubrovnic and trips to other places from the hotel. Spa facilities could have been better, not working spa pool and jacuzzi. Lovely breakfast. Overal Croatia is too espensive.
