Wish the sink was inside the bathroom. Wish my room wasn’t at the very top floor. But these are personal preferences.

Great value
Great value and location to the ferry. I only needed one night before catching the ferry and was impressed with the price for bed and breakfast in a female only dorm. Small en suite but plenty of hot water and loo roll. Very comfortable mattress, clean covers and pillow.. The breakfast room was also very clean with cereals, toast, eggs, etc on offer. Plenty of everything. I would have given 5* but the noisy road and young people yapping late in the street meant poor sleep. This is of course not the hostel's fault but it's a drawback. I'd certainly stay there again as it's so convenient with plenty of cafes and pubs nearby.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The free breakfast was decent, a variety of cereals, yogurt, bread, and yummy raisin biscuits. My room had an en-suite bathroom which was nice, BUT the shower NEVER produced hot water, more lukewarm. The sink had a separate spouts for hot and cold water. So you either burned your hand washing it or froze in ice cold water then stuck it in the hot really quick. The room itself was warm. The beds were decent. Very low ceilings tho if you have a top bunk.

We stayed at Abraham's Hostel for St Patricks day weekend and paid $400 for three nights to stay in a molded room. The staff is very young and not all that helpful. One of the staff refused to let us go up to our rooms because we didn't each have the key to our room. We were never told about that policy but the front desk still didn't let us into our room essentially interrogating us for almost 15 minutes. This just shows how Abraham's Hostel staff regards its paying customers. There was hair on the sheets, room smelled funky (probably from the mold) and there was scum and dirt all over the sink. In addition, on the balcony there was old beer cans, it was FILTHY, and a pair of underwear. DO NOT STAY HERE. there was people sleeping on the couches throughout the hostel (crazy looking people too)......dont bother coming here the free breakfast is disgusting and you just feel dirty staying here stay away!

No lift! You have to haul your luggage up the stairs if you're not staying on the ground floor. The 12-bed room is okay but the ensuite bathroom is NOT. It's way too small! You cannot even move about without touching the walls after you've clean yourself up. Eeeks! When you clean your legs and feet you would bump your head and butt on the walls when bending. Yikes! That's how small it is. It needs deep cleaning. The housekeepers quickly clean the bathroom then mop the floor in a rush without even sweeping or vacuuming first so that when they're done, the hair and dirt are still on the floor except now they're sticking to it. The kitchen sink drain stinks so bad. Smells like sewer! Really gross! Difficult to eat by that area. The microwave oven needs to be replaced. You can see rusts inside and it's not even cleaned regularly. Food debris sticking all over. Yuck! The breakfast is nothing much to miss. Just toast, butter, jam, cereals, milk and juice. NO fruits or ham or cheese or hard boiled eggs, but coffee, tea, and chocolate drink are always available when the kitchen is open. The staff were okay...helpful in answering questions but they won't help you bring your luggage up. You're on your own! Did I say they don't have a lift? The beds are okay. Not spring bed that pokes your back (yay!). Just regular hard foam mattress (at least it's still better than a spring bed that pokes your back). The bunk bed shakes when a roommates/bedmate goes up or down the upper bunk. Wakes you up

Private room was quite comfortable and warm (November) with a double bed and en suite bathroom. For a hostel with lots of noise and basic breakfast it should cost less even though it is the average in Dublin.....

We normally don't stay in hostels, unless they provided some basic services, like private restrooms, etc. Service was alright, I felt they didn't care we were there, they have free luggage storage but its open for everyone to go in and out (not secure), but in the other hand they have lockers for a reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious, the regular bed was fine but the bunk beds were uncomfortable. Its close to the bus station and walking distance to some Dublin attractions. If you don't bring downstairs the bed sheets, they would charge you. The price was almost the same for a 4 stars hotel that I stayed the following day with a lot more amenities.
