"This is a family run hotel. We had an apartment. Basic but very clean and the family are renovating the rooms so they will change soon. Extremely friendly and helpful. Ramona, Danny and family speak a variety of languages - especially Ramona. They could not do enough for you. We arrived after 11pm in the evening and they greeted us and showed us to our rooms. Departing they let us know we could stay as long as we wanted as our flight was not until the evening. Food is really good and I would recommend the Greek omelette for breakfast - delicious. We stayed for the Easter celebrations and it was fab - a bit noisy with the dynamite at times - but a great experience. As it was just before the start of the season not everywhere was open and again due to Easter the opening times of shops etc varied. Fab time was had and we would definitely recommend and go again."

"I fell in love with this place the moment I arrived. The hosts were amazing and kind hearted. It felt like home away from home. The view from the hotel was breathtaking, overlooking the Sea and the Isle of Tragonisi. The beach, Petra, is within walking distance and so are several restaurants. The cook was a wonderful woman, and provided a large breakfast buffet full of choices: cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, breads, cakes, cookies, nuts, milk, water, coffee, juice. The receptionists were helpful and quickly replied back on the apps even before my arrival helping to put my mind at ease for my journey. I highly recommend this hotel! I hope to return in the future!"

"The staff was incredibly professional, Irini and Anastasia especially made your day by welcoming you as you came and went. The bar staff were so friendly and helpful with coffee and George the morning chef was such a super friendly individual who made sure you enjoyed breakfast. Overall it’s the best experience I had in staying in Kalymnos and I will definitely return soon 😊😊😊"

"We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. The apartments are perfect for a comfortable stay in a beautiful quiet relaxing area of the island. We have loved staying so much that we are already planning our return next year. "We initially booked the hotel based on the amazing reviews online and we want to fully endorse everything that has been said about this fantastic hotel. This is a very special place to stay and well worth making the ferry trip to Kalymnos - the staff go the extra mile with everything and clearly really enjoy their job. The junior suite was gorgeous and had so much space! Really modern and clear attention to detail. The breakfast was perfect each morning, likewise with eating in the restaurant. Also providing regular free water whilst at the pool was so refreshing and it was the little touches which mark this hotel and their staff as very special. Thank you to everyone at kantouni beach - we really hope to be back next year and will be recommending to all friends and family ! Ps make sure to try the cocktails - especially the Tropical ! "
