Sunset Serenity Relaxation & Convenience

My husband Donnie and I warmly welcome you to enjoy the beautiful sunset at this cozy, safe and relaxing country getaway attached guest home. Sit out on deck sipping coffee or just relax at the pool (towels provided ) Feel free to wander down to the woods at the picnic table and the fire pit. Grill out on our gas grill or feel free to cook in the fully equipped kitchen we are located just three miles from Dry Ridge. 10 minutes to the Ark Encounter. Visit the Creation Museum (40 min). Kings Island, Newport Aquarium or the Cincinnati Zoo fall within one hour we are available by phone or text at anytime.

RELAXING
We chose this place for its outdoor environment! Did not disappoint! Very relaxing! The hosts are super, only met Donnie and he is top notch! If you are looking for an out of the way quiet place to unwind and recharge this is it! Definitely recommend!

Martha's place was everything we were hoping for and more😉. The yard was beautifully manicured with blooming flowers of all varieties. Martha greeted us with smiles and info when we arrived and assured us she would be around if we needed anything. We liked the fact that we were away from the busy traffic but close enough for shopping. Nice, clean and Homey.

Our stay at Sunset Serenity was perfection! Martha and Donald are the quintessential hosts - we felt supported and looked after, but never felt we didn't have the privacy we wanted. The property was well cared for and provided a welcome escape for my kids to run and play after long days of sightseeing. Enjoying smores by the firepit as the sun sets is a must-do! You simply cannot stay stressed out here - I highly recommend you stop in for a stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Martha and Donnie’s guest house. Martha was more than accommodating and provided everything we needed. Lovely people and beautiful property. Especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and making Schmores and hotdogs.

This is a well kept property that is so inviting. There is a fire pit and s’mores supplies, a pool that’s clean and cool. So inviting. The owners are very nice and respected our privacy. I would go back here. Even the beds were comfortable!

Peaceful Retreat
Was in the area to attend a conference. This was a quiet retreat after long days. It was clean and Martha met us when we arrived and showed us around. Comfortable beds and well stocked with linens and other items that made our stay very comfortable.

Convenient location
The property was under some construction while we were there. Owners were on site which inhibits some privacy, but they did their best to stay out of our way. Very friendly couple. Might make it part of the listing that they will be on the property for couples seeking a romantic weekend. Overall beautiful property and location. The pool was great!

Beautiful Family Friendly Country Getaway
We couldn't be happier with our stay. Donnie and Martha went out of there way to show hospitality, freshened up the pool a bit preseason, provided all the stuff for smores around the fire, took our kids for ride in the side-by-side and also gave them a few toys, and sat with us around the fire and chatted for a bit on our last evening there. We were there 4 days for home school conf at Ark/Creation Musem, it was a nice getaway in beautiful setting at the end of each bustling day. Thanks Donnie and Martha!

Great property in the peaceful, quiet country but just a few miles to town. Very relaxing to ‘come home to’ each night after visiting the ark and other attractions. Hosts were very kind; gave us our space and yet available if needed. Lots of activities at the home; including painting rocks, swimming pool, games, toys, puzzles, hammocks, corn hole, s’mores basket, fire pit and more. I would note the short road to the property is one lane but is a dead end so not much traffic.

Was a very nice clean and comfortable. Enjoyed it very much. Poperty is beautiful. Love the swing in backyard. Just sit out there and enjoy the peace and quite. Donnie and Martha great people got to spend alittle time with them. Wish it could have been more. Will definitely return in fall lord willing.

Relaxing family vacation
This place was great for me and my daughter and her best friend (12 and 11 years old) for a 2 day vacation. We came to the area for The Ark Experience, but this place is the reason we will come back. Martha and Donnie have a peaceful, country home with a great pool that allowed me to unwind and the girls to wear themselves out in the pool. The beds were comfortable and the place had everything you need to have a fun time - even included ingredients for a firepit & s'mores! They are wonderfully welcoming and kind people who have a very nice place to stay in the country. Their hospitality and warmth really made this vacation a great time for me and the kiddos. Thank you for everything!!

Best unit we have used
The location was ideal for our visit to the Ark and the Creation Museum. Restaurants and grocery stores were within a few miles. Martha and Donnie were very responsive to any need we had and treated us as friends from the first meeting. The unit was located in a wonderful country location, far away from any noise and light pollution. The unit was all that we could have asked for , making our trip enjoyable and carefree. Highly recommend this unit, far exceeds any hotel in the area.

Trip to Arc Encounter
The property is on the side of their house with our own private entrance/exit. It was as described with three parts-kitchen/entrance, bathroom, and bedroom. Martha was very accommodating, sweet, and generous with fixings for s'mores and a starter for a bon fire. We came for graduation and my daughter's birthday and Martha had a card and balloon for her. The pool was nice and good temperature. The beds were comfortable and had an awesome fan in the bedroom.
