Swiss Hills Cottage sits nestled behind a cow pasture on our 250 acre farm in Dry Ridge, KY. Relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets, rolling Kentucky hills, and peaceful pastures from the rocking chairs on our front porch OR from our beautiful fire pit. The interior is a thoughtfully designed modern-farmhouse-lover’s dream and currently decorated for Christmas through December!! Toward the front of the farm we have added a new parking area where you can stop and visit with our friendly goats. Conveniently located in Dry Ridge north of Williamstown, just 10 min. off I-75 and 18 min. from the Ark Encounter.
Enjoy our country Christmas decor during your stay though the end of December. Be sure to also check out the amazing Christmas events happening at the Ark Encounter nearby beginning November 29th.
Our private fire pit features seating for four (a porch swing and 2 Adirondack chairs) and a Solo Stove fire pit which is easy to start and has minimal smoke. We provide enough wood and fire starting supplies for one fire. (Please note, the fire pit won't be available for bonfires if a "burn ban" is ever placed on our area. Rare, but it does happen.)
- Children are welcome; however, please be aware the stairs to the loft are very steep.
- This crisp, clean, modern-farmhouse cottage features shiplap walls and a 16' cathedral ceiling that makes the house feel larger than its 384 sq ft main floor plus 120 sq ft loft.

- Main floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress and cozy bedding.
- There is also a brand NEW full-sized sleeper sofa in the main living area.

- ***We have provided a twin-size 2" memory foam mattress toppers if you'd like to add it to the loft futon to make it more comfortable for sleeping.***
- Extra bedding, pillows, towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer are provided.

Our Farm is home to two family-owned businesses - Alpine Hills Swiss Farm and Country Pumpkins Fall Festival. Alpine Hills Swiss Farm has been in operation since 1947. Milk was sold commercially for many years, but is currently a small herd-share operation milking 8-12 cows daily and selling milk directly to herd share members.
Country Pumpkins is our annual fall festival that begins mid-September and extends through the end of October with pumpkins, hayrides, corn mazes, and all the good, clean family fun you can imagine!
