This beautiful home sits in front of the Potagannissing Bay on Lake Huron to watch freighters go by. The bay's waters are rich in freshwater fish. The home is close to ATV trails and hiking trails. Two golf courses nearby. The best sunsets you will ever see. There is a large dock on the property for boaters. The home has 3 bedrooms,1 king bed, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds and 2 full bathrooms. Features a laundry room with washer and dryer. There are 2 kayaks for your use. The waterfront is rocky so bring your water shoes. The dock does have a ladder off the end and is sandy on the left side of dock. Approximately 3 feet deep at dock however, the water levels change. Firepit in the front yard with chairs and swing. There is also a rustic cabin on the property to sleep another 6 people comfortable. Could do 8 since there is a pull out a couch. So total 13-14 people.

Family Trip to the Island
We had a wonderful stay, everything you need is a short drive away and its so peaceful. It was also nice that our whole group could stay together for the week without having to rent multiple house's.

BEAUTIFUL SETTING, CLEAN & FRIENDLY
The setting was absolutely gorgeous. We had a large group but there was plenty of room for all of ys. There was room for my 7 grandkids to run around and play and fish off the dock and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do on the island.

We had a great time ! Very nice property. It was clean and things were great. We would love to stay at this location again. Great food in town and many things to do on the Island. We did not have enough toilet paper and 1 garbage bag did not last the week for a group of 12.

This property is right on Lake Huron. Easy access to the trails and can come back in the evening to cook dinner and have a fire right on Lake Huron. The sunsets are amazing. And the cabin is amazing and super comfortable. Short distance to the store and ice cream shop. Definitely plan on returning next year

Incredible Views
The views from this property are absolutely gorgeous. You can hear waves splashing at night. Just a great setting. The location was very nice very quite and peaceful. You are still close to trail systems and shopping. The property also has its own pier for docking boat or fishing from pier. We were very happy with our stay. Would highly recommend staying her.

Birthday Weekend
Cottage was clean and ready when we arrived. Had problem opening second cottage but Tessa came over immediately and opened it for us. I was there with my husband, daughters, son-in-laws and grandsons. We had plenty of sleeping accomodations. The second cottage was a little rustic but that was explained in the write up.The rental had all we needed for a great weekend. Location was beautiful. Enjoyed the views especially at sunset.

30th birthday party
This was the perfect place for a large group. Driveway held 5 trucks with large trailers and there was still room for all 7 off road vehicles. Gorgeous views. Large yard plenty of space. We did have access to the cabin which helped sleep everyone. Master bedroom is large could put air mattress in there. Living room is big enough for two air mattresses if needed....we didn't. Would stay here again.

Delightful cottage on the bay
I wanted a place on the water with a fire pit and close to the trails and I found it at Sniderhaus! The back yard was perfect! I was a bit uneasy because I had read a review that wasn’t happy with the cleanliness (I’m a neat freak) but I found it to be perfectly clean. I wonder that the criticism wasn’t more based on the house being dated. Like many places in the UP the homes are not brand new, but I found it very clean! Tessa the hostess was extremely nice and easy to work with. I will definitely stay again when I return to DI!

House was nice and views awesome as was location and utv trails. Cabin lacked tv, fridge and potable water which was not communicated. Having to haul the trash to a service station was inconvenient and not known until just a few days before check in. Waterfront offered serenity and great views but not accessible to walk into the water or launch kayaks, floating tubes due to rocks.

Great place to stay
This house has a fantastic view of the lake. Great place to catch a sunset. House was clean and had plenty of furniture to accommodate our large group. The clothes washer and drier was super convenient. (bring your own soap) We went trail riding and we trailered our rigs up. Thanks to the large "U" shaped drive way there is plenty of room to park the tow rigs and the trail rigs (we had 4 of both). The only small issues we experienced was the wifi was spotty but given the location, you will have that. there where only like 3 pots and pans which made making the large meals for our group of 13 a challenge, so maybe throw an extra fry pan or pots if you are having a large group. Host was very respinsive through the whole experience. We will definitely be looking to stay here again for future drummond trips

Great location!
We just stayed at this location with 8 adults, 1 child, and our 2 dogs for the week. Beautiful sunsets! Very large circle driveway so we were able to park 3 trucks with trailers. Nice dock as we did bring our pontoon boat for the week. Plenty of room with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms since we were able to use the detached cabin during the summer months. Close to the trails so we were able to leave right from the cabin. Will definitely be staying here again. The only thing bad I could say is the house could use a deep clean. The inside of all of the cabinets in the kitchen are pretty dirty. The grill on the property was also not clean and pretty gross. We had brought along our Blackstone, so did not have to use it. Overall, it’s a great house with a great location and we had lots of fun riding the trails this week on our ATV’s.

Unforgettable views!
The location of this property is fantastic. Right on Lake Huron with views of neighboring islands. Great things about this rental: - Sleeps a lot of people. Between the main house and the cabin, there were beds for everyone. - Great trees for handing hammocks with waterfront views! - Kitchen has everything one would need for their stay. Shout out for having crock pot! - 3 bathrooms plus 3 showers. Since a bunch of ladies were staying, showers were all used! The only feedback i have is that there were not enough towels for the guests. We would have brought some, but it was listed they were provided. Additionally, it was a bit smoky smelling upon check-in. This did dissipate after a day of having all the windows open. Overall, i would DEFINITELY book this property again. Thanks for letting us share your paradise for the weekend!

Pros and cons
Pros- the house is large large & has plenty of parking (we had 4 trucks/trailers). House was fairly clean, plenty of hot water for the group, & kitchen has enough stuff to get by. The owner was accommodating & let us check in a bit early (we arrived prior to check in time). cons -The house does smell like it used to be smoked in (a long time ago). The security cameras sometimes follow you around and randomly shines a bright light in the evening which gets kind of annoying. On to why our group would not stay here again - Saturday evening, I received a payment request for $250 stating we booked for 6 adults/7 kids & we had 10 adults. I responded that one family in our group was not staying at our house & had another rental down the road. They were not able to stay with us, as it would put us over the 14 person limit. We had 12 stay at the house. The response I received “I must say they have been at the house the entire time you have been there so not sure how much time they are spending at the other rental.” This was central location for rides, dinner, drinks, and games- but then they’d head back to their rental for shower & bed From her comment & camera activity, they are watching you a good portion of the time (kinda creepy), which explains why the lights were randomly turning on and moving. This happened both Friday & Saturday night, & Sunday morning. The payment request was canceled, but being watched from the security cameras almost the entire time was unsettling.
