Cozy up to the fireplace in this recently renovated 1895 historic Rust-Owen Lumber Co. mill house located in a quiet community in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest. Just two blocks from Drummond Lake, Drummond Lake Campgrounds, sandy beach, playground, quaint library and historical museum with logging artifacts.

Just off snowmobile and ATV trail 63 and near hiking and cross country ski trails, snow shoeing, CAMBA bike trails and so much more! Great fishing on the many area lakes including Drummond Lake and great hunting in the Chequamegon National Forest.

Coming Summer 2025, a canoe and kayak will be available to use and take to Drummond Lake with a canoe carrier. Kids will enjoy the playground at the Drummond Lake Park, the beach and fishing off the park's dock. In the winter, there is a 60 x 60 ice rink and sledding hills in the park. Be sure to check out the history of the lumberjack while visiting Drummond.

Our cozy cottage has two bedrooms with a new memory foam king bed, memory foam Queen bed and a pull out sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress. Fully furnished kitchen (coffee pot, Keurig with pods to get you through your first day or two and microwave popcorn), washer & dryer (4 washer pods included) and large living room with 55" Smart TV, remote control propane fireplace and a small work area/desk. The dining area can accommodate 6 with available table leaf's.

Enjoy a beverage on the front porch with its two rocking chairs and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. Walk to the library for a good book to read. Side deck has 6 Adirondacks chairs that are shared with the firepit area. Firepit area includes firewood. The propane grill on the deck is a Weber Q2000. Grilling accessories can be found in the kitchen.

Plenty of parking for a trailer and 2 vehicles (or up to 4 vehicles) between the house and garage is available. Additional trailer parking is available one block offsite at the trail 63 trailhead near the campground. Drummond is a very safe community, nevertheless, like you we value our toys. Exterior security cameras provide added protection for you during your stay. There are no cameras in the home nor is the Amazon Dot connected to our account--WE VALUE YOUR PRIVACY.
