When I first received the contract and 27 page, what you need to know, book, I sighed. But printed it off and it was appreciated for its thoroughness. The unit was modern, clean and well supplied. "Property is mainly clean. Has every thing you would ever need except WiFi. I thought we'd be able to use wifi at the restaurants but we never found any. Only other downside about the place was the brush cotton(?) PLASTIC sheet it was impossibly to sleep on as it incredibly hot. We had brought some bedding from home so we used that.we couldnt see how this sheet could be washed as it wouldnt have fitted in a standard washing machine. Unfortunately the hosts English was worse than our French...

"This property was in a pefect location to explore the old town area of Annecy with lots dining and shops to visit. The kitchen was well equipped. The loft bed was a unique feature but a bit of a challenge for my husband who is quite tall. The hot water breaker required constant resets during our stay and was off when we arrived so we had no hot water upon check-in. "

"The view from this apt is amazing. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking. The communication in leading up to our stay was minimal. We often had to wait a day or so for simple questions. We had difficulty getting into wifi. Some of this was due to the influx of wifi users visiting the olympics. After the 3rd day we got access but the wifi was not secure. A handbook of how to run various appliances would be helpful (heater, towel bars, etc.) Also we had anxiety each time we used the key...

Fijn appartement, alles zoals beschreven en alles op loopafstand. 10 Minuten lopen van het gezellige centrum, 5 minuten naar de bakker en de supermarkt, 15 minuten lopen naar het strand. We hebben rondom het meer gefietst, echt een aanrader (ca 40 km). Honden zijn overdag niet welkom op het strand. Vandaar dat ik iedere ochtend en soms ‘s avonds met onze hond naar het water ging en dan kon ze er wel in. "

However, there are a few points that the host could work on: There were four of us in the apartment, which is possible in terms of space, but the equipment was often only for 2 perons (cups, glasses). The fact that we had to buy additional kitchen utensils in the supermarket is of course not okay. The house...

"Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."
