"My husband and I used this as our base for exploring Southern Ireland and it was perfect. The hosts were super sweet and a pleasure to talk with. They even helped us figure out our charging converters, called up to one of the local spots for us to get dinner and offered plenty of suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite visits. Great little spot for the two of us!"

By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. The town of Silvermines is very quiet (only one pub that doesn't serve food, but is a hoot - my husband had a great time chatting with people). "A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though."

"Our stay exceeded all expectations. Tom, the owner could not of been any nicer or helpful. The cottage was well stocked. Food markets in Tipperary were close and convenient. The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. When we first arrived the cottage was hard to find at night, but a quick call and Tom was out with a flashlight to guide us in. What a great host."

"A delightful step back in time while having all the modern conveniences. Cottage was renovated beautifully with every attention to detail and in keeping with its old world charm. Sonia, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to really enjoy the cottage in the evenings around the fire. "Nice hotel With lovely staff, but "luxury suites" we're lacking the luxury. Bed was large but there was a gap between even though was supposed to be a king bed and other side was really worn (sank in the middle where people have been sleeping). Not many tv channels but use of Netflix. I would definitely take a room at the hotel next time if coming back. Suite was spacious and had a fridge and a microwave so handy for someone with small children but you need to cross a road to get to the hotel....
