"The hotel is perfectly positioned in a quiet street but only 100yds or so from the start of the central area, bars, restaurants and historic buildings. The room was fantastic and breakfast great. My only problem was Hotels.com info said was needed a negative covid test under 24hrs old from a pharmacy. We had to run round like crazy and spend €40 on the tests, only to find the hotel did not require them. Please update your information Hotels.com"

"Chance au Roy is situated in the countryside outside Aigneville. The accommodation is part of an estate, the owners living in a chateau the accommodation is in the grounds. It’s a beautiful setting but in need of some restoration. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Elizabeth the owner, she hadn’t been expecting us, despite booking ,but showed us a room that was available. "Excellent place to stay. We extended by one night. Clean and comfortable with street parking. Front desk staff were very helpful. My only concern is the 150 euro bond money has not been returned to my card yet. It has been six days since we checked out and have sent two messages to the hotel but not received any response. Our stay was very good and the kitchen let us have home cooked meals. Apart from the return of bond money would recommend this hotel."
