Located on 10 peaceful acres, loaded with wildlife, and private access to 400' of Sycamore Creek, you can't help but feel the stresses of life melt away as you make the turn down the winding private drive. Conveniently located within proximity to many wedding venues and wineries this tiny hidden treasure is one you will want to return to again and again. Great getaway!
My wife and I stayed for a couple of days while visiting with my son at Texas State for parent’s weekend. Outstanding property! Very secluded and could not have been more relaxing! Abundant wildlife. No water in the creek but pretty normal for the end of summer in Texas. Nice walking path down the creek bed. The only rub was that the AC could not keep with with the temps during the day so it got a bit hot but was fine during the night. We cooked/ate outside each night without issue and even used the outdoor fireplace both nights. Unbelievable place for star gazing! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back!!

The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed all the outside space. We played in the creek during the day, napped in the hammock and cooked out each evening. We decided we didn’t even want to go explore the things to do in the area.

Hill Country Heaven
I stayed at the cottage on the creek with my husband and two children. To say we enjoyed the property and home would be an understatement. We had delightful spring weather and put the outdoor grill and fireplace to good use. It is an easy drive to Pedernales Falls where we enjoyed hiking one day. Janice was the most wonderful host and was incredibly responsive. We would absolutely visit again.

Great Getaway Location
The perfect place for a couples getaway. Remote and serene for that "off the grid" feel, but close enough to lots of nice restaurants, wineries, breweries, & shopping when you want to re-enter the real world. The property was really neat, clean, and well maintained. We loved the really neat geography of the property and surrounding area.

Relaxing Stay
Janice is a wonderful hostess and the property is amazing. In fact, we did not want to leave! The house is adorable and has every amenity you would need. Looking out the windows at the beautiful grounds is like "nature tv". We saw the elusive fox, many deer, jackrabbits and a cottontail who was playing with the deer. Can't wait to come back!
