"We had a great time over Christmas! Deirdre and John are wonderful hosts and their beautiful house offered us more comforts than we anticipated. We took walks to the nearby beach escorted by their dogs, we cooked and reconnected by the wood stoves, and we visited friendly towns nearby. We are grateful for the care and hospitality of our hosts who went over and above to help us properly celebrate the end of a hard year. We hope to go back!"

"A proper Atlantic gale about two days in. Wind whistling around the house, and rain lashing the windows. The good news: the roof stayed where it was supposed to, and none of the windows or doors blew in. The rest of the week was very pleasant. Not sunbathing weather exactly, but plenty of sun nonetheless. The house was as it appears, small but very comfortable, with a lovely sea view.
