House was in a great location with view of mountains. About an hour from Jackson and an hour and 45 minutes from Yellowstone. Really enjoyed the town of Driggs and nearby Victor. Enjoyed eating at Forge and Warbirds and the Grand Teton Distillery.
Everything was great! Really! No complaints- only things that could have been better was the cleaning ( we found things under couches and chairs and in closets while checking for our own stuff…
It would be even better if there were an outdoor grill to use. We loved the space! Well decorated and comfortable
We stayed at the house so we could visit the Tetons. Tetons National Park is on the other side of Teton Pass which just meant you had to travel the Pass everyday. We did get use to that route. The house was very clean and very very accommodating!
The location was wonderful! We were there for a race in the Grand Tetons and this was a perfect location. The kitchen utensils and cookware were not in the best shape and we could have used more plates and bowls. However overall my family and I had a wonderful time visiting the area.
Our trip to the west side of the Tetons was a new experience for us and we're glad we took the time to explore that area: the Ashford/Tetonia Trail, the Targhee Mountain area, and the Teton Canyon Road. We explored by bike, foot, and car. The other days we went into Jackson and found the Wildlife Art Museum especially nice on a rainy day. The house itself is spacious and good for a family or multiple people. We liked the layout of the home with its 3 layers and open floor plan. Things were clean and ready for us at check-in. As we stayed we noticed some maintenance issues: numerous light bulbs were out; the kitchen faucet was difficult to operate, and the heat was inconsistent about turning on. Those issues didn't impact our stay, but they are things that need attention beyond the surface cleaning between guests.
Our family enjoyed staying at this house. It was the perfect size for us. The kids enjoyed having the whole upper floor to themselves. The house is about an hour drive to the Tetons and it took us about 2 1/2 hours to get to Yellowstone. We ended up visiting the Tetons more since it was closer and the drive was beautiful! Also the stars are amazing to view at this house! Our kids got to view the Milky Way for the first time and also saw plenty of shooting stars. Living in the city, we definitely don’t get to see stars like that. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!
Quiet neighborhood and plenty of space for 8 of us. The fireplace had been turned off for the summer so that was disappointing as it was very chilly and rainy a couple of days/evenings. Was easy to reach the property manager when we had questions. The rooms get very light early in the morning so if you are used to dark rooms be prepared. We hung trash bags over the windows to help with that. Very clean house and good sized back yard. Really nice well stocked grocery store close by---it is closed Sundays though. Enjoyed our stay!
Our family of 9 had a great visit to the area. The house fit us well and provided all of our basic needs. My only complaint is that the house does not have AC. I realize, now, that most houses in the area do not, but I wish that would have been on the listing.
Other comments: one mattress sagged, basement bed is really a futon, could benefit from more cups/coffee mugs. Grocery was very close; nice/quiet neighborhood. Overall, I would definitely recommend the house.
Nice property managed for groups, not as a vacation rental
The rental process was fine and the property is nice. It is disappointing, frankly, to find a cheap coffee maker that takes an hour to brew a pot and a bunch of plastic bowls and cups, etc. in the kitchen cabinets. The sofas need to be replaced. A nice space but the owner is not putting money into the property to keep it up.
We stayed in this hike with our best friends, and have quite a few kids in our group. All of the seating was so helpful for meals, and the wonderful grassy back yard and basement were enjoyed by u the kids frequently. The community is quiet and felt very safe. The washer and dryer were a wonderful amenity. We did all of our own cooking at the home. Our own critique would be that it would be helpful if the kitchen was a little more stocked. There are some things, but we ended up running to the store (which is very close) for a few items like sugar die the coffee. Overall, this was a fabulous place to stay and we hope to come back with our friends again!

Great location
The only problem was no air conditioner. The 3 upstairs bedrooms didn’t cool down with fans and windows open until after midnight! The trash was already full and barely enough room for our trash. Front porch light burned out. Almost paid double from the advertised price. Slept 9 we originally had 9 but 3 didn’t stay.good location for our needs.

Needs a few updates
The property is a very cute house on a small piece of land. There has been lots of construction in the subdivision since the original pictures. The view is obstructed with new houses. When I booked the house, it listed a grill, fireplace and TV. No grill, no propane to use fireplace and the only working TV was in the master bedroom. There was a small TV in basement, but did not work. Also the garage doors to not close all the way(weird).
We stayed here to ski at Grand Targhee and the location was great. The house was comfortable and the beds were comfortable but it needs a few amenities. The bedrooms are very sparsely furnished. There are only two very small TVs that don’t have cable and are not able to stream Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc. the only service that worked was Vudu. The kitchen only has plastic cups. They are very particular about cleaning up after yourself and post it all over the kitchen. It made us nervous about cooking and eating there. They only have a shampoo and conditioner combo so if that won’t work for you, bring your own. Overall it worked for us, but it would have been nice to have cards or board games and working TVs after long days of skiing.
The property was perfect for our group. Loved all the space. Beautiful views and great access to town and ski resort. Large garage to store skis, snowboards and boots! Would definitely recommend this property!
This place was pretty nice. There is no A/C but it is a winter home. Has a great jacuzzi tub in the master and the layout of the house is nice. My only complaint was that the cooking utensils were a lacking a little so I would not plan on cooking a large meal. It would be nice if they had a grill too. Otherwise this location is great and I would stay here again.
The location of the house to Driggs down town area was perfect. The house was roomy. The ping pong table was lots of fun for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare our own meals. The only complaint would be that It did get hot upstairs and it was uncomfortable.
This property needs the photos and listing updated. Upon arrival, it seemed a bit of false advertising. 1) The photos, especially the outside ones, are not accurate anymore with the construction that's gone up. 2) Even though there is a double garage, you don't get to use it. 3) The main floor is not that spacious. 4) No barbecue grill, even though it's in the photos. 5) The backyard has trees blocking the view. 6) No air conditioning and the fans available were dirty and poor quality. For one of the rooms, it was so warm, we slept downstairs on the couches for 3 of the 4 nights instead of in the bedroom. 7) The blinds in the master bedroom need replaced (wouldn't work correctly). It wasn't a terrible stay, but for the price paid, we expected more. Also, the drive to Yellowstone is 2.5+ hours which was unexpected.
A+ experience! Our family loved our week-long stay at the Red Farmhouse in Driggs. We loved the house and the town and the location. There is much to do in the area. Some of our group climbed the Grand Teton during the week. The guide service was a little over an hour away and was very doable. Jackson is about 40 minutes away. The house was very comfortable and clean and as described in the listing. The kitchen was bigger than I was expecting and was well equipped. There’s quite a bit of counter space. The caretaker was very responsive to answer questions. The whole process was super easy. There’s also a very well-stocked grocery store in Driggs that’s about 5 minutes away. And there are some excellent mountaineering shops in town. We were there for the July 4th week and there was a hot air balloon launch and lots of fireworks that were visible from the driveway. The location is convenient to many activities in the area and the Teton Valley is beautiful! We would return to this house in a heartbeat any time of the year. Can’t say enough about what a great place this is!
