Nice accommodations for the price. Very basic. Staff not that helpful. Room was in a different building from check in and even though there was a golf cart out front they wouldn’t help take bags to the room.

They make it seem as though you are staying in the main house but most of the rooms are in a out building, the room was fairly clean but run down, the common areas and hallways the flooring was terribly stained and threadbare

The setting of the property is gorgeous, no question. Beautiful gardens and view. You feel like you're in another world. The rooms lacked one very vital thing--a way to make coffee or tea!! Such an easy thing to provide, and quite necessary for a really comfortable stay. The parking situation is also not ideal, as there simply isn't enough close to the buildings.

We visualized to stay in the Castle. They show the Castle as the picture in the bookings but after checkin, they throw you in detached building looks like a normal hotel building. They told us the price will be double if we want to stay in the Castle.

I loved the atmosphere of staying at such an exquisite hotel. It was a castle and that made it so much better. The breakfast provided during our stay was excellent and offered a variety of choice. The area had nice walkways to enjoy. It was very quiet and remote, compared to the downtown hustle.

beautiful place to relax
Lovely place with beautiful garden. The aise where we were staying was not in the castle (disappointing) but was only a 3mn walk away and was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is well worth it and is located in a very nice room with beautiful view on the Elbe. The one disappointment is the inability to access the river bank, but none of the hotel’s fault!
