Very well-equipped but some surprising omissions: hangers and surfaces to set things on in the bedroom; corkscrew, scissors, microwave instructions, recycling advice in the kitchen. I would have liked to have been able to contact someone to say that two wall sockets weren't working. Otherwise, comfortable, convenient, warm and handy to have washing machine. "

"My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in Magdeburg. The Hammer's were very friendly and provided us with many suggestions for our trips, - mainly on our bicycles. We did not have to use our car the four days we were there. Our accomodation was an extra house with all the necessary utensils, and then there was the pool which we were free to use. All in all. We can only recommend the place."
