Hmm..... where to start. This review might go on for awhile.
First of all let me provide a quote from Tim, who is the property owner. "I am only too happy to help and want you to have a 5 star experience."
OMG....This quote could not be further from the truth as he clearly overpromised and way under-delivered.
Upon arriving at the property, which is in the downstairs of Tim's house, the HEAT WAS NOT ON. It was approximately 40-50 degrees outside. We then walked thru the residence to find the following:
* The tub was half full of water with a bug in it
* Only 1 of the 3 portable heaters worked
* Dishes in the dishwasher
* Dirty, very used kitchen sponge
* Someone's clothes in the dryer
* Literally 1/2 roll of toilet paper with absolutely no extra
* No paper towels at all
* Bed sheets, pillow cases and spare sheets were stained and had hair on them. One of the pillow cases even had blood on it. It literally appeared as if someone pulled up the sheets from the previous guest.
* No window coverings on the atrium door making me feel as if I was in a fish bowl
* Food crumbs on the rug. It appeared as if the area rug had not been vacuumed in a very long time.
* Old condiments and food in the fridge and cabinets
* Couch cover and decorative pillows had short, white hair on them and stains
* Could easily hear people walking around and talking upstairs. Sometimes as early as 6 am. Also heard people arguing and their loud TV
* The path along the side of the house leading to the residence is treacherous. The path is lined with clunky pavers just sitting on top of the uneven grass and mud. There is absolutely no lighting on the pathway.
After seeing all of the above, we notified Tim at about 7 pm and told him how unclean the place was. I advised him we were in SLC so my wife could have surgery. He nonchalantly indicated he "will have to talk with my cleaners." Since I was not about to sleep on sheets and pillowcases with hair and blood on them and knowing the cleaners would not come at such a late hour, I requested he come downstairs and change the sheets himself. He outright refused and told me to
"change them yourself." I then used an indirect expletive. Thereafter, Tim texted us back stating, "Shame on you" for using the expletive. Thereafter, we did not hear from him again. No cleaners. No Tim. No nothing. In fact, we had to drive to Wal-Mart to buy our own sheets and toilet paper.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!
