"The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. "

"Family trip consisting of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 1 adult grandchild went off without a hitch. The property is so beautiful- meticulously clean house, soft beds and luxury bedding, top notch kitchen appliances, with the most peaceful view of the lake. Excellent communication from host, including helpful welcome book. Fresh loaf of cranberry bread from local farmer’s market was a nice touch. "Our second stay at the Schoolhouse. Perfect layout and setup for us. Light and airy greatroom, Bedrooms on opposite sides of the house offer privacy for us and our guest. As the weather gets cooler, would be nice to have a working fireplace, otherwise a terrific stay. Pictures on the website do it justice. A little off the beaten path, but only 5 minutes to town. We'll be back next year!"

"The house is hosted by someone who is very thoughtful. Every detail that a guest may need was considered. For example, there were small toiletries like toothpaste there. The entire place was immaculate and totally renovated. The kitchen had everything. Well stocked with all the appliances and tools you might need. Its 15 min from Rhinebeck. Very convenient location. We highly recommend. "
