"The price was high, but by far the best accommodation we had in Ireland. The host checked in that everything was okay, had good suggestions what to see in Galway. One suggestion was to walk downtown. Faster and easier than driving. They came in midweek to change the bedding. A fully equipped kitchen, and a grocery store across the road made meals easy. The Huntsman Inn restaurant and pubs were across the parking lot, so no need to drive. Truly a first class facility. "

"The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works...

"Room was tiny. No reception. We never saw anyone that worked for the hotel. This was especially a problem when some people staying at the hotel got locked out at 3am and spent half an hour banging on the door trying to get someone to let them in. "

"Property was perfect for us We loved the location and walked everywhere including to Galway university where my granddaughter is for this semester. Check in could be a little easier. Directions for taxi driver were very good but entrance through a driveway and courtyard was difficult at night particularly first night. Dark cloudy sky so no natural illumination "

"This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful. The place was awesome for 6 people (definitely could have fit more!) and the host was very quick to respond. Highly recommend!"

"My siblings and I, along with our spouses, just returned from our stay at this property. It is a beautiful house and the location can't be beat! The host is responsive and helpful, telling us all about the property and area. Beds were comfy, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. "Mary's house was perfect for us. The location, privacy, views all wonderful. The house was very well equipped for our 5 night stay, we lacked nothing. Such a peaceful spot within a short drive of Ballyvaughan and several restaurant options. If you are looking for a quiet spot near all the Burren has to offer, this is your place!"

"This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...

"Not only was the location, perfect for attending evens like Trad on the Prom down on the water, it was only a 15 minute walk into town where Quay street fun lured us to music dancing and laughing. . "This property was perfect for me and my extended family. Both granddaughters were over the moon at having a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. All four adults found the bedrooms, community areas and kitchen to be a great value with enough space for everyone to find seclusion when needed, and ample room for group meals and other activities. "We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"
