"This low-key setting, dark-sky setting was easy to access but felt remote. The stars were magnificent. We used Joe’s lower camping area, so come self-contained. There is a fire ring, plenty of wood around the property, a picnic table and porta potty. Great for when you want a reserved spot to semi-boondock. Joe was a great host and easy to communicate with—we enjoyed our stay for the annular solar eclipse."

"The camper was cute and we loved it. The area is very rustic and off grid, which is awesome. The owner was friendly and had the awesomest dogs ever! The only downside was we had to take a very cold showers both nights because they are solar powered and we were out til dark. "

"The first day the fire detectors chirped so badly I couldn't sleep. We replaced the battery in the detector in the bedroom off the kitchen. It finally stopped chirping and I could sleep. The dishwasher leaks. I tried running it the first day and a huge puddle formed in the middle of the kitchen. I will leave the towels in the floor so I can run it before I leave and the towels catch the water. The light in the bathroom of the kitchen has missing and not working light bulbs. "We stayed here passing through to the Canyon Lands. It was just one night but it was convenient for us. Nice place and lots of room. Everything was good and I’d recommend it to others. Only downside was grass had been mowed and was left in the parking area everywhere. Also the cat was cute but under your feet as you tried to get in and out. But thanks for the stay "
