"There were 9 of us there for the better part of two weeks and we all had a lovely time. Bathrooms were large and modern. It was terrific having a deck with a shaded picnic table for everyone to hang out. The pond is picturesque, if a little ripe, and the local walks and hikes are very pleasing. Renovations are ongoing: the place still needs some work, but overall it was very good."

"Nice rustic hotel. Room very spacious and full equipped Location is good Cleanest is good Reception is good. The only problem was the shower door which was very difficult to open and close - must be fixed. Special thanks to Suzanne for instructions. Room 1002 WiFi is ok Because of that 4*. I hope it helps. "We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. "Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster.
