"Booked this last minute and what a treat! It was spacious and had great amenities. We had a slight issue getting the WiFi password but this didn’t really impact our stay."

"Very well set up very clean newish home in a great location a few minutes walk to the shops and ocean walks. Lovely outlook of distant hills and water was lovely. 2 bathrooms was very handy. No wi-fi was a surprise and though not an issue for us might be for some with no streaming of dvd facilities. Small fridge seemed unneccesary and might be problematic for longer stays and families. Could do with a couple of small coffee tables and not sure bedroom heating in winter. But enjoyed our stay for...

"Well stocked and equipped kitchen. Excellent! Only problem was that the kitchen was on the 2nd floor and hence no so convenient for the elderlies in my group. Most unfortunate that the penguins were gone. Pity."

"Once you conquer the very steep driveway and get into this wood filled wonder, you understand where it got its name. Perched on a steep hillside high above the terrain, the views to the East of the forest below and the Tasman Sea are stunning.The place, itself, is very unique both in its construction and layout. It is well appointed with everything you need and very tastefully decorated with genuine artwork. Some of the small watercolors are truly gems! Dozens of books line shelves...

"Great location with only a short drive to Coles Bay. Short walk to Sandpiper beach. The house is very comfortable-bedrooms and bathroom facilities were excellent. We had a wonderful stay. "

"Such a beautiful area to stay in. The views from the house were amazing with the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. Listening to the waves at night was so soothing. The beach was pristine and we caught several fish from directly in front of the house. The house was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we required. Bicheno is just a short drive with beautiful restaurants and cafes and I would highly recommend visiting the wildlife park. We would definitely stay there again."
