Beautiful house
A gorgeous house with everything you could wish for a very comfortable stay. Immaculately clean throughout, well equipped kitchen and wonderful beds. A good location for visiting some pretty villages, a lovely place to relax. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, thank you for making us feel so welcome, would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

We had such a wonderful stay here. Veronique and Christophe are the perfect hosts. We were made to feel so welcome. It is a wonderful area to stay, near lots of pretty places and beaches nearby. Veronique gave us lots of tips for local visits. The house is great and immaculate. The beds are super comfy, the most comfy we’ve ever slept in when away! And the garden is fab, with outside dining Space. It all feels very private and the owners are on hand next door if you need. Veronique kindly took our girls to feed their donkeys, who are so sweet. Thank you again! We would love to return!

Fantastic Stay
What a wonderful stay we had with Christophe and Veronique. Their guest home was perfect for us, allowing us to enjoy the historic sites and art of the region. We can't say enough about Christophe and Veronique's friendliness and hospitality. They went out of their way to help when we had some difficulty with our rental car. Beautiful restored house in friendly atmosphere
We felt very welcome and safe on the property of the owners with private entrance. The house was warm and had a personal feeling. We enjoyed the peace and quietness and Doudeville was a nice place to go to. Cristophe and Veronique were open to our needs,helpful and interested. Thank you !!

Beautifully Restored Property with lovely welcoming hosts
The cottage has been beautifully restored recently and is very clean . Unlike most rentals it is much much better than described on the website . It has a large and extremely comfortable living and dining area . The kitchen is extremely well-equiped and everything works . The location is superb , extremely quiet with lovely views . Children will love the donkeys. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely appointed , in fact there is nothing we can criticise about the place. Doudeville , which is a few minutes away , has every kind of shop you might need including a well stocked supermarket . It also has some very nice restaurants . The owners , Christophe and Véronique , live next door and are extremely hospitable and welcoming without being intrusive . This is by a long way the nicest rental cottage we have ever stayed at. We will definitely try and return, Finally , because there are wooden floors and no carpets , it is ideal for dog owners , as we are , because one isn't in constant fear of the consequences of wet or muddy paws.

The Excellent Gite
The Gite is absolutely terrific its basically very homely, it is set out very well inside and the beds are very comfortable and the Kitchen offers all that you would want. Also there is a really large front Garden where our Dog loved to run and stretch her legs. The property offers everything that you would want. We only used the Gite for a nights stop over whilst travelling south from a late train crossing, but wished we had stayed longer, we will return in the not too distant future to stay longer. The owners Christophe and Veronique are really friendly and offer a warm welcome to you, so do their three donkeys that live in the field 100m away from the property if you pop down to say hello to them. Beautiful house and garden with extremly friendly hosts! Enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing!
We (family of five) had such a wonderful, memorable stay. The house is immaculate with everything we needed. We used the garden for a game of football, badminton, cricket, frisbee and for just reading and sun bathing in the sun loungers. The addition of the table football and the ping pong table made our kids very happy. We were very grateful that we could use their bicycles, which we used to get into Doudeville for our daily baguette/croissants in the morning and made excursions to Yvetot and Veules-sur-Roses. The surrounding area is very beautiful. Veronique and Christoph are fantastic hosts. Such warm and forthcoming people have made the stay even more special. Little things like a home-made cake baked for us on arrival, supplying us with a repair kit for the bikes on our excursions, inviting the kids to collect the eggs, taking our son on a spin in a Renault 4L, taking the time to have an evening with us etc., are gestures from Veronique and Christoph, which made our holiday wonderful and memorable! And you learn a bit of French, French history, culture and living. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Lovely place to stay

Beautiful and tranquil house.
We were warmly welcomed to this gorgeous gite by Christophe and Veronique. The gite is of a very high standard and beautifully presented. It is very clean with comfortable beds, everything you need and excellent showers! Outside, there is plenty of car parking space as well as a large outdoor sitting area and room for children to play safely. It was lovely and peaceful and not far from many of the tourist sights of Normandy. It's within easy reach of Rouen (a great city to visit) and the beach. We really enjoyed our short stay and would happily return.

Mooi huisje op rustige plek
Veronique en Christophe ontvingen ons hartelijk. Ze zijn duidelijk trots op het gerenoveerde huis en dat is terecht. Het ziet er van binnen en buiten prachtig uit. Het is er rustig maar niet afgelegen. Het dorp Doudeville is maar een paar minuten met de auto. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis, binnen het uur zijn er heel veel leuke en mooie plekken te bezoeken. Grote supermarkten op een kwartiertje. Keuken en sanitair was prima. Bedden ook. WiFi is soms een beetje wiebelig, maar dat is natuurlijk geen enkel probleem als je lekker buiten bent. Wij hadden de pech dat het bijna de hele week enorm slecht weer was en dan valt het op. Het werkt wel hè, begrijp me niet verkeerd :). Kortom, Normandië is leuk en Le Clos Masure is een hele fijne gite om te verblijven. Aanrader.

Unterkunft mit so viel Herz
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser wunderschön hergerichteten, gemütlichen Unterkunft, in der es an nichts gefehlt hat. Wunderschöne Unterkunft- nette Gastgeber
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und wir hatten viel Freude an dem Billiardtisch und den Esel :) Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch unsere 4 Kinder waren herzlich willkommen. Immer wieder gerne!

Perfect vacation
We enjoyed ten days at this wonderful location in the Normandie. It is a perfect place for families with kids, especially if they enjoy the countryside. You can reach various beautiful villages and the sea within 20-45 minutes including Rouen. The hospitality of the owners is overwhelming and we felt welcomed and at home from the start.

Herzlich
Den Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen. Veronique und Christophe sind tolle und herzliche Gastgeber. Wir durften einen leckeren Kuchen bei unserer Ankunft genießen und haben gleich gute Tipps zu Ausflugszielen in der Umgebung bekommen. Das Ferienhaus bietet alles, was man benötigt und es ist liebevoll hergerichtet. Ein Highlight waren natürlich die 3 Esel. Und auch der Freizeitraum mit Tischkicker und Billardtisch waren bei unseren Kindern beliebt. Wir danken Veronique und Christophe für den schönen Einblick in die Normandie.
