"A historic and charming location and domain; efficient, friendly and personalized service; excellent quality standards. Rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable. The restaurant is a real plus. Delicious food, wine and impeccable service for an overall affordable price. One minus: the spa is not free of charge (this should be said in the description in hotels.com) and it costs the ludicrous amount of 60 euros for 50 minutes. Despite that, a much recommended hotel. "This is a lovely boutique hotel located La Morra, a convenient spot in the Barolo region to visit wineries and the surrounding towns. We went during the off season so it was rather quiet but we preferred that as there was an outdoor patio right outside our room which added to the ambiance of the hotel. Their breakfast room is in a lovely space and the food was delicious with a lot of options. The staff at this hotel were amazing and made our stay even better. They helped us book appointments for our next destination which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely stay here again if we are in that region. "

"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard. Finally, the restaurant was a very unhappy experience. An indifferent reception upon arrival by Ingrid turned cold when we asked if we could sit near the window. The food was unimpressive. With a penalty assesed of one extra night stay, we were permitted to move to another vineyard based property in Diano D'Alba."

Brand New Family Villa in La Morra

Highly recommended!

"It was a pleasure to stay in Villa Barbara. Everything was clean and place was quiet and looked like brand new. Special kudos to all of the complimentary food - cake, eggs, milk, wine, water, bread, cheese, salami, hazel nuts - everything we needed for the breakfast for couple of days. Enjoyed the mosquito free dining area in the garden with BBQ grill. "

Luxury apartment in the very center, but quiet and private

Confirmed reservation not honored

"We reserved, paid for, and had confirmed a two night stay at this property. When we arrived, the host/property owner shared that the property had been double booked and that we would be able to stay in the apartment the second night only. They did provide another property for the first night instead. It was not as nice, it was not as spacious, and no expansive terrace with the beautiful view. We also then had to move to the new apartment after the first night which took time out of our vacation. When we asked for compensation for the mistake the owner offered us 20 euro stating that we were put up in a property of equal value so they did not owe us more than that. They obviously knew this double booking had occurred but did not let us k ow until we arrived. We had reached out the day before to confirm check in procedure but they did not respond and then claimed they had sent the directions. Beautiful apartment but dishonest property manager/owner."

"During our recent trip to Italy, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at a charming bed and breakfast run by Andrea’s family. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Hosts: Andrea and his family are phenomenal hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Andrea himself greeted us with a friendly smile and offered a wealth of information about the local area, including hidden gems and must-see attractions. His parents were equally delightful, always ready with a cup of coffee and engaging conversation. Accommodations: The B&B itself is a beautifully restored traditional Italian home. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with a mix of modern amenities and rustic charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. Breakfast: Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. Each morning, we were treated to a sumptuous spread of homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and local delicacies. Location: Situated in a picturesque village, the B&B offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. We enjoyed leisurely walks through the charming streets and were pleasantly "

Best Choice when Visiting the Langhe Valley and Wine Country!

"We absolutely felt comfortable in this lovingly restored home near the center of La Morra. Pino and his wife were amazing hosts, met us when we arrived and he was even able to save us a parking space near the house to make it easier to unload our bags. Everything was absolutely clean and comfortable along with small comforts such as snacks for morning, coffee, and little touches like a chocolate on the pillow and dog bowls for our small dog. It just showed how much the hosts care about their guests. They helped with dinner reservations, recommendations for our visit, and gave us a small gift upon our departure. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Piedmont Langhe Valley wine country. Pino and his wife make you feel as if you are staying with family and the town of La Morra is so quaint with beautiful views of the valley and great restaurants. We hope to return soon!"
