"the area is very peaceful and scenic. excellent place to see all that the rhineland has to offer. lots of places to walk and castle/berg's to visit. spent 2 weeks travelling and resting and didn't want to leave.Stairs to bedrooms a bit tricky to start with. i would recommend and stay again. "This place is HUGE! So many rooms and beds, very spacious and clean. Plenty of parking, multiple bathrooms...lots of towels, champagne upon arrival, great communication. 100% recommend if in this area. We were only 4 people but it can handle so many more!"

"The most peaceful setting we have ever stayed in with total privacy. The house has all you could need ...both inside and the garden area. Full sun from mid morning to late evening so we could fully enjoy the garden with its sun loungers (with sun brolly for shade) The BBQ was well used with lovely evening meals at the outdoor dining table enjoying the sunsets and then starry skies. Surrounded by woodland but a short drive/cycle out to explore the surrounding villages . A car is needed to fully...

Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. "Wir, 5 Erwachsene und ein Hund, haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig, ausgestattet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, und schön ruhig am Waldrand gelegen. Als für wenige Minuten der Strom in der Gegend ausfiel, wurden wir sofort mit Licht und einer Flasche Sekt versorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Alles im allen perfekt gewesen.Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig.Viele Wanderwege und Radtouren vort Ort.Einkaufen geht nur mit Auto zB.ca.6km AnnweilerPS.Das Feriendorf ist halt in die Jahre gekommen."

"Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin hat uns freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung mit Wohnzimmer, Essbereich, Küche, Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett) und Badezimmer liegt in der 1. Etage, das zusätzliche zweite Schlafzimmer (Einzelbett) ist in der 2. Etage und verfügt über ein weiteres Bad mit WC und Dusche, was wir sehr praktisch fanden. In die 2. Etage führt eine relativ schmale Treppe.Wir waren für ein paar Tage zum Wandern im Pfälzer Wald. Besonders das Dahner...

"The best gite we’ve stayed in, with lots of lovely small touches. If we were really picky the pool could be a touch bigger, and there would be seating outside rather than on a covered terrace (which was hot in the heatwave we experienced). But this place comes highly recommended! The wine couldn’t be more local, and the owners Richard and Monique and their family can’t do enough for you!"
