"The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. We reported it to Vrbo asking for a refund and no help was provided sadly so we lost £500 of accommodation fees and had a disrupted holiday having to...

"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"We were able to check in at 1am late at night, the night manager was very nice and accommodating. The room had everything we needed for a good night rest including A/C and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Pretty little Hotel in lovely area. Hotel staff only average. Lovely view from our room. We had dinner in the Hotel Restaurant and it was fantastic, great food and service and value for money, there were locals eating there also not just tourists. The Hotel did try to charge us 10 Euro for parking however after we advised on the Expedia site it said Free Parking they let it go. Don't get conned into paying."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. We arrived very late, around 2am and there was someone at the reception who didn't speak much english but we understood each other. I wasn't expecting much of the hotel because of the price but I think overal was very good. The only thing I saw as a downside is that our room was just above where people go to smoke so I had to smell the cigarrete smoke because the room was boiling as the air conditioning wasn't working. "This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

"The stay was fine and pretty efficient and the staff was friendly. However, the check-up ( 0nly slightly after their reception closing time was difficult). Neither IBIS nor Expedia had sent me the alphabetical access code to the night entry check in system, so had to get someone on an almost inaudible intercom system to explain to me the entry protocols and provide with the code that had not been sent. I had called earlier in the day to alert the hotel that I was not arriving until 21.30! Otherwise everything was fine. "
