"Somewhat grand house with a lot of character. Nice view of the garden to the hills and river just outside. Spacious room and bathroom. Everything worked well. Ouffa (the host) was gracious and friendly. Easy and pretty walk into the nearby small town."

"Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. "The house is well equipped and spacious with lots of room to spread out and come together. We used the location to explore the region and had easy access to Sarlat, Beynac, Castelnaud, Domme etc. Highlight was a kayak trip on the Dordogne river past castles and beautiful villages. Also a day in Montignac to see Lascaux. We enjoyed the well marked hiking trials that left right from the house. "A stunning house in a great character full town! The property catered for all our needs, especially with 9 kids ranging from 3 to 16. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very helpful which made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. "Delighted by first impression and by overall grandeur of the property. Warmly welcomed by Xavier and his daughter Julia who could not be more helpful. All rooms light and airy and tastefully decorated, and very well appointed kitchen. Games room kept all occupied and the pool was in constant use - the pool size made a positive difference. "We were three families with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 3 to 14 years of age. The place was absolutely stunning and suited our requirements perfectly.
