The cottage is ideally situated for walking and cycling, and exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast. There are numerous seaside towns and villages just a short drive away including Weymouth, Westbay, Lyme Regis, Lulworth and iconic Durdle Door. Nearby is the county town of Dorchester with its shops and cinemas, Roman Town House, Iron Age hill fort, museums and Thomas Hardy’s Max Gate and Cottage. When staying at the cottage there are numerous quaint villages within easy reach including Cerne Abbas with its famous Giant, and a wide selection of local pubs and attractions within a short drive.
