We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to experience the finest country living at Poxwell Manor West Wing. The self-contained holiday home is perfect for family holidays all year round, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is plenty of space for two families holidaying together. The annexe benefits from its own private entrance, which leads to a ground floor cosy living room, complete with gas fireplace and comfortable seating. Also on the ground floor is the compact fitted kitchen, with farmhouse dining table and kitchen appliances including; dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge, and washing machine.
Up to the first floor, are three boutique style bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom features a King size bed, along with original fireplace and mullion windows overlooking the front lawn. The second bedroom, also a King is just down the hallway, with built in wardrobes and views of the garden. The twin bedroom features a set of two single beds and built in wardrobes. The bedrooms are serviced by two stylish bathrooms, both with walk in showers.
Outside, there is access to a shared grassed garden area (just a short walk away from the annexe), and private parking for two cars. Please note that the grounds of the house are not accessible to holiday guests, children and pets should be supervised at all times. The property is pet friendly and we politely request that you keep dogs on leads at all times whilst in the garden.
The Grade I* listed Manor house is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the quiet hamlet of Poxwell, just 3 miles from the coast at Ringstead Bay. The Victorian seaside town of Weymouth is just a 10-minute drive to the West, with long stretch of sandy beach and traditional harbour, it is a great day out for all the family. The Isle of Purbeck is just half an hour away to the East, with the popular tourist attraction at Corfe Castle and the traditional seaside town of Swanage all within easy reach. The stunning Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, iconic natural landmarks, are also within reach, providing awe-inspiring coastal scenery.

It is understood that King George III visited the Jacobean manor house on a number of occasions. The renowned author Thomas Hardy used the Manor as Oxwell Hall in "The Trumpet Major". FROM WEYMOUTH
Follow the A353 out of Weymouth, through Preston and then Osmington. Pass the turning for 'Ringstead Bay' on your right hand side. Follow the bend round to the left and continue straight until you see a left turning signposted 'Manor Cottage' on a wooden swing sign, turn left here. Follow the farm road straight ahead, as the track bends to the left, take the left bend and you'll arrive at Poxwell Manor straight in front of you. Park up directly in front of you (where there are signs in front of you thay say 'West Wing Parking 1 2') - Park directly in front of these signs, nose in.
Then walk back along the black gates (in the direction you have just come from) and walk down the steps on the right where the black gates are open. The front door to the West Wing is here on your left.
