Beautiful Dorset.
We spent a very peaceful and restful week at Beauvoir Court Stables. The grounds are well kept with lots of flowers lots of lavender which the bees loved. The owners were very helpful and not at all intrusive. The village is a short pleasant walk with enough places to eat and drink, we also used the small village shop that had everything we needed. Everyone was friendly and we would certainly like to go back to Cerne Abbas.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation.
The property is set in a superb garden in the most delightful locale. There is a bubbling brook not 100 metres away. Parking is easy. As was the internet. All was spotlessly clean and of the highest standard. The hosts were delightful. Not pushy - just there if you need them. The village itself is wonderful and the home made cake shop for afternoon tea is worth a visit in itself. We are already planning another trip from Australia solely to stay in this brilliant property

Third stay says it all!
This is our third stay at Beauvoir Court Stables. Twice we stayed in July but this time October so we didn't have particularly good weather although October can be pleasant. Also I didn't realise (or had forgotten as I lived in the South West for 10 years) that from 1st October quite a few outlets and eateries close or are only open for the weekend or an extended weekend so that was a bit frustrating. We'd definitely aim for the summer season next time. However, Beauvoir Court Stables was as lovely as ever and we feel very much at home and comfortable there. The seclusion, quiet, the garden, the so-well-behaved Molly and our hosts who leave us to ourselves which we really appreciate, certainly for the first few days while we're recovering from our busy lives at home. We have absolutely no complaints or negatives about the Stables and we are rather particular because, as I've said before, we live in a lovely, comfortable house with a very quiet outlook and so we want to holiday somewhere which at least equals that. The huge shower head and roomy shower area is great. I would wholeheartedly recommend Beauvoir Court Stables.

Fabulous
The property was beautiful & very well equipped. There was a small patio area available to use which was a bonus. The owners greeted us on arrival & made sure everything was perfect for our stay, including an amazing welcome pack of local produce. The property is in the owners gardens, which are truly amazing & you have a lovely view of these from the full height windows. Situated off the road, the location is very peaceful, only interrupted by beautiful birdsong. Very peaceful location in a lovely village which has incredible history. We would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time!
We spent a week here last year and based on our happy experience then we booked again for the same week this year. Again, we had a really lovely week. We have already reserved a stay next year (even though it's still only July!) and trying a different time of year. I think that says it all really - for us, everything is spot on there. We have enough seclusion and privacy which is what we like even though the owners live next door. Very happy memories.

Had a wonderful week!
Ticked all our boxes on choosing and didn't disappoint when we arrived there. Everything was (almost) perfect - the only thing that let the accommodation down was the sofa. It badly needs replacing. It gave my 6ft husband a bad back as it is in his words 'totally clapped out!' We solved the issue by placing a large cushion against the sagging back cushion. We barely sat on it - just an hour or two in the evenings. It's a shame as everything else in the accommodation gives the impression of high quality whereas this sofa looks like a cast off. The area was perfect for us and the garden idyllic. We'd definitely go there again.
