"Staying at this Castle was a highlight of our trip. It has been updated with comforts as much as possible. We had a nice warm stay. This is a true standing castle rich with history. Perfectly located outside galway. Barry was an excellent and resposive host. I think he was just as exciting for us as we were to stay. I omly dinged cleanliness because its an ancient castle. If dust in the corners isn't expected, this is not the place for you. Book It!"

"We stayed for three nights in this lovely home. The unfortunate part of this stay is that we barely had any hot water while we were there. We had to take cold showers based on the way the heating system worked. We shower in the evening and could get a warm show to save our lives. It made it tough at the end of a long day. Also, for the price And in today’s times, there should be WiFi access even if it is a paid amenity. It becomes difficult to plan your stay with no access to Wi-Fi."

"Not only was the location, perfect for attending evens like Trad on the Prom down on the water, it was only a 15 minute walk into town where Quay street fun lured us to music dancing and laughing. . "We had a family gathering during Christmas and New Years. The house was nicely designed to accommodate our party of six. The kitchen was great for cooking our meals including the Christmas turkey. We would highly recommend the house for short or long stays. "

"The location could not be better for a stay in Doolin, you can walk to everything it was to offer! The house was well appointed and very very spacious. The hot water was challenging but you can message the host about it, we just were so busy and forgot to ask. "

"Fanore is great, right on the coast with a fantastic view and remote but with a shop and pub very local, which were both great. Walk on a side road to the beach took about 15-20 mins and there were many places we accessed by car on days out too. House was a great size, was in need of some refurbishment downstairs, upstairs has more recently been done I think. The garden was a good size and great off road parking. Hosts were available for any questions and check in and out were smooth. "
