Wild Atlantic Way Beach House
Bunker Lodge is two buildings united by an L shaped sunroom and it’s full of unusual and tasteful features. One is the sunroom itself, glazed on both sides bringing in the view and giving a bright heart to the house. Another is the first floor living room, which has windows on three sides and double doors going onto the balcony where you can absorb the magnificent view of the Atlantic. It’s minutes from white strand beach and Doughmore beach where the beautiful Doonbeg golf course is located.

Beautiful countryside cottage. Perfect location for excursions along the coast. The property manager Patrick was super helpful with recommendations. Wish we could have stayed longer! This is a gem of a property in a quiet town but close drive to many beautiful attractions along the western Ireland coast.
The house was the perfect size for my group of 6 girlfriends. The view of the sea is priceless! The host made sure the house was ready for our group and we had an amazing time! Can’t wait to go back!
The home was clean and easily accessed upon arrival. The sleeping arrangements were challenging, with only 3 beds within the house. The annex which had a futon does not have access to a bathroom. Therefore, guests must go outside to the main house at night.
The view from the second floor was beautiful. The property was easy to find and a good location and proximity to the Cliffs of Moher.
The property is absolutely a great place to host a family vacation. We were a family of 9 (8 and a baby) and stayed for 2 days. The place has 3 legitimate bedrooms with ensuites. The 4 bedroom is a separate space with a pull out couch and there are blow up mattresses available. There is an additional half bath in the house. The house was just as pictured, it has amazing family gathering places and an outdoor view to die for! Ireland countryside at its best! We loved the neighborhood cows talking to us also. Patrick was highly communicative and available if needed. Would highly recommend this place for families!
This was a lovely property in a quaint little coastal town. The property itself is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and amenities.
It's a short walk (about 20 minutes) to the town of Doonbeg which is quite small with a few local pubs and shops. Dinner at Morrisey's is highly recommended. If you're looking for more nightlife, I recommend a drive into Kilkee (slightly more going on but still a small town) which is not far. It is tough to catch a taxi so it would be wise to drive or line up a taxi in advance.
Patrick was an excellent host and was incredibly attentive. He was super responsive, sent us plenty of info. in advance, and even left us a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for our celebration.
We will definitely be staying again.
Great home in a wonderful location. The communication with the host was extremely helpful. He gave us great local recommendations. Kilkee was a highlight!
The property was exactly as described set in a beautiful location near the local beaches. Patrick was always on hand to help and give local recommendations. We were thrilled with how our holiday went and would definitely look to return again.
Wow, we had a wonderful stay in this amazing place. The house is a hidden gem, perfect for our family as all the rooms are en-suite. Our kids loved the play room & virtual reality PS games. The views are quite spectacular are not done justice in the pictures. The secluded shoreline is a minute from the house and was like having our own private beach with safe swimming for kids. The natural beauty of the surroundings and the luxury of this elegent home made it the dream stay.
We definetly plan to return in September
