"Beautiful stay in an amazing location! We came for a wedding that was on in a hotel 5 minutes away so, we didn't get to spend a lot of time there unfortunately! From check in to check out, the staff were incredible, welcomed us and got us an early check in to get ready for the wedding! Check out wasn't until 12 which was fab 😍 shower was amazing, bed was so comfy, breakfast was delicious, overall a great stay and would definitely recommend "

"There is a very welcoming environment at The Talbot. Ive stayed several times and on this particular stay there were two staff who said ‘Welcome Back!’ Realizing Ill be coming back again Im starting to learn the staff’s names :) Great crew and wonderful service/food as well. "

"Just stayed at Ivor‘s house on the shores of Clew Bay and it was brilliant. The photos in the listing don’t really do it justice as the space available to you is huge. All the facilities are spot-on. There were a few goodies for us in the fridge when we arrived and they even put up a Xmas tree as we were there for Xmas. Communication was great. The surrounding area is beautiful. Lots of history and lots of places to go walking, lots of history. Highly recommended.Suits family’s, and those with kids too… Thanks Ivor."

"This isn’t just a house that’s available for holiday rental, it’s a home and you feel it as soon as you walk in the door. It’s a beautiful home and so lovingly appointed, we don’t want to leave! "We had a great stay at The Cliff House. Great big room right across from the beach. The restaurant is good too, breakfast and dinner. Achill Island is stunning, not to be missed. "

"I’d give 10 stars if I could! We had the most wonderful two week stay here. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed and has plenty of space for human guests and for our dogs, they loved it just as much as we did. The area is outstanding, quiet and peaceful with beautiful empty beaches within walking distance or a short drive from the house. On our first day, we saw a pod of dolphins that put on a spectacular display for us 🐬 Belmullet is a lovely wee town with exceptional restaurants and cafes, delicious food & staff who couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The local people are really friendly, stopping to pass the time of day and making time for each other, something that is a thing of the past in other places I have visited. Such a special place and very heartwarming. Our host Yvonne was excellent with her communications and if she could help in any way, she would. Checking in was easy and there was a very thoughtful welcome gift on our arrival. Yvonne allowed us to fix some wire to the gate so our dogs would be kept safe. We really appreciated being able to do that 🐾 We were so very lucky with beautiful sunny weather for most of our stay, so we have come home feeling totally refreshed and the five hour drive was well worth it. If I had one recommendation, it would be for the caretakers of this beautiful house to ‘up their game’ by way of cleaning (hence only giving 4* for cleanliness) and presentation. Thank you Yvonne. "
