"This was a lovely stay close to Beacon! It is a little hard to find at night, but the neighbors were very helpful. It’s a ground floor apartment in the woods, so there were a few (but not unexpected) bugs. Use the luggage racks and you’ll be fine. Quiet area, clean space. Very steep driveway and an uneven walking path, so make note if that will be an issue. We did have a hiccup with the fridge going out, but the host responded within five minutes and got us sorted with a backup. Very kind and...

The village is lovely and the people are friendly. So beautiful down at the lake. The apartment is downstairs and although the upstairs neighbours were very nice you could hear walking about and doors shutting. Also the noise of the large fridges through the wall in the cafe kept us awake. We have been assured that sound proofing will be going...
