"Delicious food for dinner and breakfast. Such a peaceful relaxing stay with a great view. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a spider in our room but that is expected with the location. The host and their family are so warm and welcoming we would definately return if we are back in that area. "

"We stayed for one night at this hotel. For the price this hotel is everything you could ask for. It is close to the main bus pickup in phong nha. The rooms and service are good. Everything seemed clean. The breakfast at the hotel is nothing to write home about, but it is to be expected at this price point. "

"Awesome place to have a laid back stay in Phong Nha. We went in January and were the only ones in the hotel. Originally we had booked 2 bunks but when we arrived they put us in 2 private rooms. Not sure if it was a mixup or an upgrade but it was a nice change after a month sharing rooms. "

"We stayed at Bamboo’s House as a stopover in Dong Hoi on our way to and from Phong Nha. We didn’t have high expectations--were just looking for a place to sleep and leave our stuff while we went to Nhat Le Beach. But, after enjoying Mr. Bamboo’s hospitality for two nights, I highly recommend Bamboo’s House if you visit Dong Hoi. We had a family room, which was large enough to comfortably accommodate two adults and two children with luggage. The A/C worked well, and the sheets and towels...
