My only complaints are that the dining options were very slim in the area after like 7pm, and there was a list of requests posted in multiple areas of the room that "for the environment you should turn off the water when brushing your teeth and turn off the water while washing your body in the shower" which was peculiar. I am environmentally conscious and still found that unpleasant to be asked of from a place I paid to...

"We had the most beautiful stay and Jean Luc is the most perfect host. Always there when needed. We were a group of twelve half/half adults to kids ratio and easily there was room for more. The area is just beautiful and we enjoyed our walks in the nearby woods."

"We arrived on a Sunday evening and most shops had closed. The hotel is a bit out of town. The room was adequate, but the steps up to the mezzanine bedroom were very steep. The beds were comfortable. "On our penultimate day of a short jaunt through the Ardennes, we had an enjoyable time in Montherme, visiting the Roc la Tour also know as the Castle of the Devil! There was no chance of taking a boat trip on the river as everything seemed to have closed down, which was a shame as the boat was moored there and the timetable suggested it should have been going."

"Amazing cabin by the river, everything we needed and super cosy warm with the wood burner. Instructions about the property were perfect and covered everything we needed, easy to find. Location is very quiet but within a short drive of a number of towns with everything you need, plus a number of supermarkets. Loved this place, hope to return soon."
