"Off the tourist track but with a few places for nice visits. In hot weather pool v good for children. Quirky property on outskirts of nice small town with all necessary shops. Significant road noise in main bedrooms but sofa beds in quiet air conditioned living room. Very spacious house and garden. Owner was very attentive. We had very pleasant stay with primary age children."

"We all enjoyed our stay at the Les Tramois. The cottage is really charming and is set in a beautiful location. There are horses, a donkey, peacocks, fish, hens… Our children loved interacting with the animals, jumping into a huge paddling pool as well as doing archery and bouncing on a trampoline. Lots to do for the young! There is a nice woody walk and a well equipped charcoal bbq. Fabien is a wonderful unobtrusive but very helpful host. Thank you for having us!"

"We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...

"Lovely property, the house was nice and clean, great location. We didn't use the pool as it was not the best weather, but if we had any criticism it would be that the pool floor and walls could do with a good clean, they were a bit dirty."

"This house is a true gem and it was hard to leave. The location is perfect (just steps away from local shops), the house is breezy and cool, rooms spacious and clean, view from the house sublime, garden a perfect place to play (there are a lot of games for children), and the hosts were a dream. We rented Le Petit Fort as a place to escape from Paris and work remotely and we couldn't have picked a better place. It exceeded our expectations and we plan to come back every year.
