NicoMat Rooms were beyond our expectations. The building was so thoughtfully renovated - the spaces are beautiful and efficient and we were wishing we had spent another night. It is in the centre of town and close to everything. The breakfast was outstanding - we highly recommend it all!

Fantastic room in the heart of Piazza del Mercato. There’s free street parking if you’re quick and lucky enough to find it. Other street parking is free from 7:30 pm until 8 am. We parked in a parking structure so didn’t have to worry about moving the car. Paid about 5.50 euro per day. Breakfast was awesome. Anna was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in great tiwn
Lovely boutique room, so close to the centre of the old town, and easy walk from the station (10 minutes and this with luggage on wheels). Breakfast 8-10, well presented, nice breakfast in charming room. Our host, Anna, was terrific- easy check in, had already advised on best way for us to get from Domodossola to Milan/Malpensa airport when departing so we had out bus tickets booked and so easy transfer to the airport (bus from station, direct), and she provided all assistance requested. As we needed to leave early, she provided early breakfast, and then offered to drive us to the station- we didn’t need this but lovely offer. Domodossola a remarkable little town, Saturday markets take over the town, and bars, restaurants buzzing. We had great meals and wines, and the stay at NicoMat made it all so accessible with great host. And the train from Locarno to Domodossola a must!

Great spot for Domodossola stay, short walk from station with luggage (on wheels, easy walk down Main Street). Right around from market piazza- markets, bars, restaurants, historic town centre etc. Anna so helpful in all respects, nice breakfast included.

Charming Medieval Village
Domodossola is a charming Medieval village and the Nicomat Rooms are right in the historic core. Beautifully restored building with state-of-the-art gentrification. Anna the proprietor, was very attentive and available. She recommended the Alberi Fausto restaurant which turned out to be the best dinner we had in our two weeks in the Piedmont!

One of our favorite nights stay on our recent holiday was here. The attention to detail was so special. We truly felt so welcomed when we stepped foot into our room. It was cozy and comfortable. The entire property is entirely charming, neat and clean. The owner operates it directly, including preparing the wonderful breakfast each morning. The room is very nicely appointed. Every detail seems to have been attended to.

A true gem!!!
We initially booked a stay for 3 nights but we kept extending our stay because we liked this hotel so much. We looked online and no other place came even close to this one. The room was beautifully decorated and it was super quiet the whole time we were there. The bed was very comfortable. Best sleep we had in a long time. The whole place was very clean and the staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served every morning in the the beautiful cellar with delicious food. We would definitely stay there again and again.

We stayed here in October of 2022 for two nights. Anna and Elena were very kind and patient especially with our limited Italian. Very nice, cozy hotel with very clean rooms, great bathrooms and a unique rock cellar where breakfast was served. Breakfast was very good with local jams, honey and dairy. The rooms were neat and clean and in excellent condition. Location is literally around the corner from a lively plaza with several restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend.
