"We picked this property because it is dog friendly. It is close to Houghton but far enough away for quiet time on the water. We enjoyed the deck and the grill a lot. Having Two refrigerators was so nice. Each of our family members had their own room and bathroom. Lots of room in the living room and big table for large families and playing cards or games. "We’ve been told that this is one of the best resorts on the peninsula to stay in. We were impressed with the cabin and its big rooms. Plenty to do including a game room and a spacious balcony where you can hang out when the weather conditions are right. Plenty of parks to hike or sight see and the college nearby has some football and hockey games for entertainment too."

"This place is absolutely perfect. Cabin #4 was incredibly clean and cozy. We were up visiting our son who plays football at MTU, and felt right at home. The game room, hot tub, and sauna was definitely an added bonus. That will come in handy during future stays for ski trips as well. This is a must stay for anyone visiting the Houghton/Hancock area. Kari and her husband now have lifelong customers. "
