"Lovely castle set in stunning grounds. We went for a wedding and the wedding event rooms were fab. The food and service was great amd the staff were lovely and it was all very well organised. Cleanliness was good too. Only negatives were that some of the rooms were tatty and in need of attention. Peeling wallpaper, broken toilet flush, trim missing from bottom of shower etc. "

"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "

My room was not overlooking main street, no noise at all from outside, even though Friday night and room was lovely and warm with adjustable radiator. "It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."
