"Het personeel en de ontvangst was allervriendelijkst en zeer behulpzaam. De accommodatie was picobello in orde. Smaakvolle inrichting van het geheel, zowel binnen als buiten. Het samengaan van oud gebouw en nieuwe eigentijdse materialen is stijlvol toegepast. Het diner en ontbijt waren prima. Kortom, een heerlijk en ontspannen verblijf in een weldadig aandoende omgeving. "This is a humble little place above a bar/restaurant. The bed was really nice, and the bathroom was squeaky clean, with good water pressure in the shower. There was a nice radiator that worked well and a shelf above it, that made it easy to dry things in the rainy season. That said, it is above a bar. So on Fri and Sat you aren't going to get to bed before 2 AM unless you have serious ear protection. There are only six rooms, but the walls are extremely thin, so expect to also hear your...

"We stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful place in the heart of Dokkum. Our Host, Mient was very responsive to messaging; so accommodating; and very happy to assist us with planning activities and he gave great advice. Though we only spent one full day in Dokkum, it was a great day! We also visited so many other Friesian Towns from this home base. We participated in the Elfstedentocht, which was great fun. "Accommodation was fine. Lovely little pub 5 min walk from property. Only problem was getting the key from reception as they said didn't seem to know we were arriving. They also couldn't find the key after speaking to the owner, eventually gave me the spare key but it was a bit stressful at the time. I must point that this was reception's fault and not the owner of the property."
