"What a unique and magical experience!! Peace and tranquillity is what awaits you at this beautiful and well stalked scenic place that is situated on a flowing small river. You will not be disappointed!! Highlight of our 6-week tour of France for our family of 3. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer than the 3-nights. "We wanted a place close to Lyon to use as a starting point for a tour of the Massif Central. La Rafiliere fit the bill perfectly. The countryside in April was gorgeous and the house was clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was not meeting the donkeys!"

"Villa avec piscine intérieure qui ne manque pas de potentiel mais au vu des frais demandés pour le séjour ainsi que les frais de ménage on aurait put s'attendre à un habitat propre et sein et des équipements fonctionnels (spa hs, TV, etc). La partie basse du logement n'est pas seine avec des mansardes qui cache la misère, ça sent la moisissure a plein nez et cela est bien pire par temps humide. La piscine n'est pas sécurisée ce qui devrait être interdit dans une location. Le jardin n'est pas en...

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette superbe maison très bien équipée. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine à cause de la météo mais tout le reste était parfait, nous reviendrons !"

"Being up in the mountains the views are lovely from the property. The surroundings are peaceful and we had a lovely relaxing week. Getting into St Etienne was easy - our stay involved going to two of the World Cup rugby matches and the property was an excellent base in that regard. There are nice restaurants within a few minutes' drive. The property was beautifully clean and well equipped and the host, Christine, was very welcoming and helpful."
