"Nice stay. Kept warm and view of bay was lovely. Appliances were of high quality and appeared new. I had difficulty with the bathroom sink drain. I enjoyed exploring Orcas Island. Felt like I was integrated into the community. No other rentals in view. Bathroom had the feel of a boats head. Everything was there but it was tight. If owner is interested I do fine pruning and would be interested in taking on the care of your plants. Hot tub was glorious!"

Anniversary getaway

"We had a lovely stay in Doe Bay. Rob was a fantastic host, communicated diligently, and ensured that we had everything we needed. Orca's has some incredible restaurants, hiking, kayaking, and views. It's an easy place to get around and it was an ideal time of year to visit. The location is fairly remote, which was exactly what we wanted. Night bring many deer onto the road so it was necessary to go slow and be very cautious driving to and from the house."

"Super cute place! Everything was excellent. Our favorite part was the nook upstairs and the fireplace. The owner was great in responding to requests and questions. We highly recommend this place for your stay at Orcas Island!"

COTTAGE AT DOE BAY - ENTIRE HOME (NEW LISTING)

Peaceful retreat

"We stayed at the Cottage at Doe Bay for about a week in late September and had such an amazing time. It was so peaceful and quiet. My husband and I enjoy to cook and thought the kitchen was well stocked. The bed was also comfy. The cottage is within walking distance to Doe Bay Resort and that was also an amazing little spot. It has a nice farm to table cafe and we had dinner and happy hour while we were there. They do have limited days and hours. But I think that’s just island time. Would definitely come back!"

"House was in a gorgeous (if remote compared to the amenities on the island) location. Other reviewers remarked that the interior is a bit dated - it is, but the property was clean and well-maintained. We found the external lockbox (with the key) difficult to open, but otherwise no complaints. "

"Overall a fantastic property with views even better than the listing. The house is plenty spacious with great character (fun designs in kids room and big open living room). We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, electronic keyboard and fireplace and spent a lot of time on the expansive deck. Loved our stay!"
