"We stayed for one night in a cabin/chalet behind the hotel. The concierge was extremely helpful and polite, despite clearly being alone at work (it was a Sunday night). Check in from a reservation was smooth and convenient. There is not much to do in the area, so we had a couple of beers in the bar/restaurant area and went to bed. The chalet was clean and well-equipped for a longer stay, with appliances, tableware, towels, and a comfortable sleeping arrangement. I would highly recommend this option for singles or couples who want to explore the nearby area for a few days and have a cozy cabin to return to at night."

"The property is otherworldly and located in a beautiful, natural setting that is just stunning. The owners are wonderful and breakfasts are great. We will definitely go back. While it is in an isolated area, it is only a 20 minute drive to Hofn where there are many excellent restaurants."
