"The owners give a personal touch you would expect from a 5 diamond resort. One of the best stays we've had anywhere. You get great exposure to some Icelandic culture at this property. Pictures don't do it justice. "

"One of our favorite spots that we stayed at during our Iceland trip. We were able to see the northern lights the night we stayed. Loved the cleanliness of the room. The shower and toilet were all in one but large bathroom. Would stay here again. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Dynjandi! Inga was so kind and I had such a pleasure talking with her. I called her earlier in the day because I had a car issue and would be arriving past their check in time. She kindly waited for me. My room big and came with complimentary tea, water, and biscuits (that I quickly ate up!). The bathrooms seemed brand new! They were clean and had a neat artistic decor to them. My bed was comfy. "This was a quaint cabin that we stayed in and the owner was very good with communication. This is an extremely beautiful area and allowed us to visit a beautiful town next to the area. There are several waterfalls and hiking opportunities and I believe we could’ve used a kayak if we asked, but we did not have time to do this. The kitchenette was adequate for cooking simple meals. "
