"The hotel was very convenient, clean, comfortable, and nice overall. The service at the front desk was fantastic, they were so nice and helpful. They take you to your room and show you the amenities which were honestly pretty cool (at least for the junior suite). The interiors are all updated and parking is free and convenient (but a little difficult for our large van). The views were very nice from our balcony. "What a find! The owners have combined their family heirlooms with modern facilities most charmingly in their farmhouse. Beautiful gardens and thoughtfully arranged outdoor spaces. A most sympathetic and friendly hostess. Our evening meal was home cooked with vegetables and fruit from their potager. This will be our default stopover and we fully intend to stay a few nights and explore the area by bicycle in the future."

"Do not be driven by the cover photo. This a working property and the rooms are above the office and working area. When work is over, no one is at the property. This is a very pedestrian stay. Our room was disappointing. The shower pan did not drain and my shower had to be cut short to avoid overflow. Our room door did not lock and once shut, it took the full force of my aging body to push it open. The main door to the building did lock however. The view was spectacular. We left early. "
