"This is truly a little gem. An amazing, tastefully restored period building. It is also the owners home and it shows in all the fine details and attention. The building is amazing, spiral staircase, old fashioned bell pull and giant key locks. The rooms tastefully in keeping with the half timbered style whilst still managing to host all modern amenities. The breakfast selection was outstanding and uniquely informal. All fresh local produce....mmmmm. Best of all was the hospitality of the host...

"Chambre choisie côté vue de la vallée. Décoration au top, accès possible aux salons de la bâtisse. les hôtes sont très sympathiques, attentifs et serviables. Le petit déjeuner était exactement ce que j aime : fruits, jus de fruits, pain, beurres au choix, confitures excellentes, thé, kfir, brioche ou madeleine. Dommage, je n ai pas pu profiter de la table d hôtes, réputée. Je compte bien revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter de la vue, de la terrasse et de la piscine également ! "

"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"Beautiful two bedroom apartment in an old house with private entrance and outdoor dining patio. Perfect for a couple or small family as there is only one bathroom. Gorgeous gardens and flowers with private gated parking. Very close drive to wineries or tasting rooms as well as area Chateaus and villages. No food onsite but Grocery store within 3 kilometers for use in the full kitchen. Bottle of local wine was a nice Welcome gift. Owners/managers couldn’t be nicer. Great base for Chinon area...

"Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "
