"To say our stay was riddled with problems would be an understatement. The problems began before we arrived when we realised that from the nearest metro station we would have to climb either 14 flights of stairs or walk up a large hill - all with suitcases. While the ad mentions the “heights” of Old Lyon, there is no mention of the accessibility issues in reaching the apartment. When you finally reach the building, there are 3 more staircases through a dilapidated building to reach the flat....

"Pro-Location is excellent, 50 steps to bars & restaurants, 70 steps to shopping strip, property unit on ground floor, unit is quite equipped with basic needs. Cons-Can’t open the window due to strong urine odour from curb outside perhaps too closed to bars ? Pillows/blankets/bath towels show signs of wear. Credit to Management, communication was great, prompt response to a couple of issues on check in & it was resolved quickly, thanks again. Overall, we had a great stay."

"The apartment is located on a lovely square and a perfect area of town. The apartment is very well equipped, particularly the kitchen, with everything from coffee, tea, spices, cookware, utensils...etc. It is also a short walk to the other side of the Saone and many of the historical sights! The apartment is true to the VRBO pictures. We would definitely stay again! "

"Virtually everything was excellent. From the size of the unit to the materials within, we had a wonderful experience. All the contact information was great (pictures made everything easy to understand). Of note, we had a minor crisis when an electrical issue locked us out of the unit. However, within 30 minutes, an email with the owner had it resolved. Simply, we were very well attended. Two things for American travelers to be aware: 1 - all contact was in English and we had no communication...

"l’appartement est sympa mais le canapé est défoncé, la poussière est l’occupant principale des lieux la poignée de porte est cassée dans les toilettes la porte du frigo trône dans le salon le fauteuil est complètement usé et les chutes de simili se répandent dans l’appartement les miettes des precedents locataires tapissés les tabourets, les vitres sont innommables le hall d’entrée est un débarras( tapis, tv ) c’est vraiment dommage !"
